DESP II Team Members
Los Alamos Technical Associates (LATA) is a
diversified engineering, scientific and technical services company
serving a worldwide client base. Founded in 1976 in Los Alamos, New
Mexico LATA has offices nationwide with corporate offices in
Albuquerque, New Mexico. Today, over 200 staff members deliver quality
solutions to the Department of Defense, Department of State, and
Department of Energy. LATA is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small
Business.
LATA provides services to the DESP-II environment
across the following major categories and examples:

Studies and Analysis advanced logistics planning,
industrial base, nuclear safety, environmental protection, weapon
system engineering and Counterproliferation/export controls;

Logistics Plans support to DOD/DARPA on Advanced
Logistics and UltraLog programs, DLAs War Reserves Studies, and
ordnance logistics and test support on DOD countermine, laser weapon
systems and other armament applications;

Ordnance System Support explosive safety studies
and analysis, CAD/PAD management, explosive field test planning,
countermine systems, FMS Support, Stockpile to target Sequences,
Probabilistic Risk Analysis, and Program Management support;

Weapons Systems Engineering - full range of high-end
logistics engineering including reliability, availability and
maintainability studies, training, life-cycle cost analyses,
technical documentation and testing for Paveway Program, AGM 130
Program EGBU-15 Program, among others; and,

Information Technology legacy systems support,
systems training, reengineering and upgrade, integration management
and support, system lifecycle support, technology insertion,
development and maintenance, spiral development, new systems
implementation and integration.
