September 28, 2007: DRC Awarded tenth task under the Air Force’s DESP II contract for $928,000 to Dynamics Research Corporation (NASDAQ: DRCO) today announced that it was awarded $1.34 million in task to support the B-52 aircraft weapon system.

September 26, 2007: DRC awarded $415,000 in modifications to the existing C/KC-135 Aircraft Systems Engineering Program (ASEP) Task Order FA8222-05-D-0004-SD02, and the Item Unique Identification (IUID) initiatives Task Order FA8222-05-D-0004-0005.

August 29, 2007: DRC awarded a $1.49 million task order under the Air Force’s DESP II contract to support the C/KC-135 Aircraft Systems Engineering Program (ASEP), including the development and implementation of solutions to challenges identified by the government as materially influencing C/KC-135 aircraft mission readiness. This marks DRC’s ninth task order award under DESP II.

February 8, 2007: DRC wins Aging Landing Gear Life Extension (ALGLE) Program award at OO-ALC valued at $1.0 Mil.

DRC recently received its sixth task order under the Air Force’s Design and Engineering Support Program (DESP II) contract.

The $1 million effort to support the Aging Landing Gear Life Extension (ALGLE) Program was awarded through the Aeronautical Systems Center (ASC) at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio.

Under this task order, which has a period of performance of 12 months, DRC and subcontractor and DESP II team member General Atomics will provide integrated landing gear services, including engineering design, prototyping, testing, documentation, and Production Phase Plans (including cost and schedule parameters). The work will be performed at Hill Air Force Base in Utah.

DESP II Expo Held on 28 Nov 06 at Hill AFB
A DESP II Expo was held on 28 Nov 06 at Hill AFB during the period 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM to enable Government personnel to familiarize themselves with the DESP Prime contractors. All 20 Primes—the original 10 and the 10 new awardees that resulted from the GAO protest--were represented. Due to the number of participating primes, booth space was limited and the active participation by team members was not possible. Team members did submit their brochures and some handouts that were made available for personnel visiting the DRC booth. The number of Government folks visiting the displays was much lower than at the first DES II Expo held in October 2005.
